There are sensors in the bottom of your feet that work to coordinate the muscles above. In the world we live in, we constantly find ourselves turning those sensors off.
Everywhere we look we have smooth surfaces to walk on, light shoes with a lot of cushion. This is wreaking havoc on our sensory system. Our bodies were designed to use these senses to function.
Enter the cobblestone mat! I use this to blast sensation back through my feet which acts as a sort of reset button for your body. What I have found is that if you are having a stressed out day, it hurts to walk on it. If you are calm and relaxed, you barely feel anything.
